SelfTwin — Privacy & Terms

by IshvaLang · last updated 2026-06-07

SelfTwin is built on one promise: your words never leave your device. This page explains exactly what that means — in plain language, matching what the code actually does.

The short version. Your journal and everything derived from it (your themes, your reflections, your wellness readings) are created and stored only in your browser, encrypted with a key derived from your passphrase. We cannot read them. The only thing that ever reaches us is the email address (and optional name) you enter to create an account.

What we receive — and what we don't

Where your content lives

No tracking, no ads, no AI ingestion

Wellness readings

Heart-rate and breathing readings (camera / motion) are computed entirely on your device and stored only there. They are reflective, never a diagnosis or medical advice. SelfTwin is not a medical device.

Reflects, never advises

SelfTwin mirrors your own words back to you. It does not give advice, instructions, or professional, medical, legal, or mental-health guidance, and it is not a substitute for any of them. If you are in distress, please reach out to a qualified professional or a local helpline.
